The Complete Guide To Getting Started With Article Marketing And Exploding Your Traffic

April 27th, 2008 by vanessa
Lets face it the competition is getting tougher online. PPC advertising and other methods are beginning to produce less results.

The main reason for this is that people are constantly being bombarded by advertising and they are becoming skeptical of what they read. So what you will find is that if you are still advertising using traditional methods your response rate will in fact be less than what it would have been a few years ago.

This is an extreme challenge for online marketers today. However, article marketing is still a very reliable method of generating quality traffic to your website. In this article I would like to go over the basics of how you can use this to drive targeted traffic to your site.

1) Write a killer title

I would go as far as to say that your title will probably result in about half the success of your article. Make sure that it will grab the attention of the reader. Also include keywords as this will help to get it found through search engines.

2) How to write your article

I suggest that you write the introduction and conclusion first as these are the easiest to write. Brainstorm your ideas in the form of bullet points. Expand on these and write a paragraph for each bullet point.

3) Submit to the major directories

There are only a few directories that you need to submit to maximize your traffic from this method of promotion. Ezine Articles is the leader so I recommend that you start with it.
