Why Strong Article Content in Your Articles Should Be a Consideration
October 9th, 2007 by vanessaBecause this is a very lucrative venture, more and more people each day are becoming article writers, churning out work faster than one can say, “Hold it!” But because they are going at such a fast rate, one can never be sure if the quality of the content is at par with the flashy titles and the convincing teasers. For the target market, this is what they would call ‘all form but no substance’. And in order to truly get and sustain the attention of the market, you have to make sure that your articles are of the best quality.
Having a strong content for your article means possessing a vast knowledge about the product and service you wish to promote. You cannot talk about it if you do not know it inside and out, no? As an article writer, you should be able to rattle off the good things about your product or service in the blink of an eye. So if you feel that your knowledge is not enough, then it is time to do some research for it. Do not stop until you feel that you have exhausted the bank of knowledge that you can get from books, websites, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, and professionals.
And by strong, we also mean knowing how to write in a tone that reflects the language of your target market. Remember that you are not only a writer - you are a marketer as well. As a writer, you should be able to come up with good research for your material. As a marketer, you should be able to transform that knowledge into an alluring manner of presenting it to the target market. Strong content is also knowing when and how you can introduce information - part by part, bit by bit, and not just give all in one go.
And finally, another characteristic of a strong content is being able to use words and ideas to mobilize the target market and move them to action. And by action, we mean feeling the need to get in touch with you and order your product or charge for service. You cannot stop at just making them feel good about your work; make it so that they will feel the need to include that learning (or that product or service) in their lives.
